Mission in brief:
It is WWII and you were posted at Jackdraw airfield with your 3 crew members and your B-25. Since the plane had some mechanical issues, your main task is to help patrol the northern parts of Scotland.

Mission Settings:

* B25-Mitchell from Khamsin.
* [must] Jackdraw Scenery.

* [highly recommended] Alpilotx HD Mesh Scenery V2 (You can download just the England area +50-010 ).
If you like his work, please find the time to donate, you can find the link under his site.

* specific mission files should be placed under "Custom Scenery" or "Custom Scenery/missionx" directory. Rendering settings:
* [uncheck] runway follow terrain.

Enjoy...

Installation Instructions:

Air Plane:

  • B25-Mitchell by Khamsin!!!
  • If the URL above fails, then navigate to the store

    Custom Scenery to Download:

  • Download Jackdraw Scenery.
  • Open Scenery X a must have scenery package.
  • Alpilotx HD Mesh Scenery V2
  • The Custom Scenery you download, should be unpacked under "X-Plane/Custom Scenery" or in what ever directory the scenery designer instructs.

    The Mission Custom scenery, assembled by the mission designer, should be unpacked directly under "Custom Scenery". Mac users should read the "OSX Installation" in order not to delete their scenery directories.

    For Windows and Linux OSes

  • Unzip/Unpack the mission file into a temporary directory.
  • Copy the "Custom Scenery" and "Resources" directory to your {X-Plane Installation Dir}, if prompted to overwrite the directories, click yes!

    When the copying processes will finish, all relevant directories and files would be placed in the correct locations.

    OSX installation

  • Unzip/Unpack the mission file into a temporary directory.
  • Copy the content of "Custom Scenery" (under mission directory) to your XP10 "Custom Directory" (do not overwrite the directory itself since OSX will replace the whole directory).
    Do the same to the "mission" file. Copy the mission XML file located under "Resources/plugins/missionx/data" to the "X-Plane/Resources/plugins/missionx/data" directory.

    If under OSX you were prompted to overwrite the directories, click NO!!!

    All 3D Objects were created by talented 3D artists which uploaded their work to: tf3dm site.

    The 3D Objects were ported to x-plane using Blender. Special thanks to "der-On" for his "XPlane2Blender" script.

    You are ready to start the Mission. Load the mission, and go over the briefer instructions.
    Enjoy...
